Sophia in the ruff
After watching the first Matrix Movie, I came up with this idea. Whenever you are stopped at a stop light and watching the drivers on the right turning left as they go by you, practice this.
See each one of them with whatever you want. For example, see each one as they drive by as being closest being to God. So, use your imagination to see them as beings of light and closest being to God.
Why do this? To see each person as closest to God, you have to think it and give it to them. This means you are actually resonating in the same thought to give it. Your file keeper, security guard of your mental records thinks you are seeing the people as closest to God and in reality you, by giving, have to be resonating with the same energy and the guard (file keeper) cannot reject the frequency now entering into your file cabinet. Example, my wife, Merilee once told me you can not send love to another if you are resonating in hate. If you are loving you can not hate at the same time. Likewise, if you are seeing others as one with God then you are one with God. This is the Law of Give and you shall receive…
Now, catch this. I would explain this concept to patients by looking out the window and have this story: Imagine a homeless person walking on the sidewalk pushing a shopping cart. Now before you let the picture enter into your nervous system too long, send a picture back of this person being one with God or maybe even God dressed up as a homeless person. This is the act of giving and therefore you are receiving at the same time.
So, several years later I was asked to pick up Merilee’s son in Placerville at 10 PM. I pulled over just about a block before I was to get to the pick up place to move my jacket and other belongings off the front seat. I pulled over under a street light and without knowing it I dropped my wallet on the ground.
Later at 2 AM, I was awakened to the phone ringing. I answered and the man that called said he had my wallet. I doubted him and he said, “are you a bald older dude”? I then knew as my adrenals went off, that I must have dropped my wallet and he explained to me just where he had found it. Right where I had pulled over to get the front seat ready for my step son to get in. I told the man I would leave right now to come over to meet him. He said meet me where you stopped your car earlier that last evening.
When I got there, I had the police on the cell phone with my blue tooth under my beanie. The man came out from between some houses and came up to me and handed me my wallet. He said I hope you are ok with me taking the cash, I needed some food. I told him I am happy to get my wallet back and of course the money is yours. He went on to say that he had just gotten out of prison for stealing peoples credit cards and living high off the hog at the casinos in Nevada. He told me that he could have taken the credit cards and repeated the same act but he felt he didn’t know me and since I did not do anything to hurt him why should he hurt me.
We left with the appreciation of two people that both had a win. (and the police were happy, too)
As I was driving away, I realized he looked just like the homeless person I had told patients to visualize when I was telling my story about how to change the picture coming at you by seeing others as One with God before you react to the story they are projecting.
This to me was amazing. I had created, by imagining a homeless person and seeing him as one with God, a homeless person in my future behaving in such a awesome Godlike behavior. This truly was a blessing to me….
